Event First Aiders/First Responders Working for NEMS

We are no longer accepting First Aid at Work qualifications to provide medical cover at events. Following guidance from the Purple Guide, we now require Event First Aiders to have Level 3 in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3), which we can deliver the training on. Those with First Aid at Work can still be employed as Event Support Staff (Stretcher Teams, Communications, Lost Children etc)

As well as first aid staff, we are always on the look-out for enthusiastic Health Care Professionals to provide medical support at events. If you are a currently registered Health Care Professional looking for a new challenge in your spare time then event work is for you! We are currently taking applications from HCPs of all backgrounds.

North East Medical Services are a professional team working both on the front line along side the NHS and also... providing medical courses and training, having recently requalified my qualification through them I am definitely going to use them again. Spent a week training with these guys, and they're great! Facilities are lovely, trainers really know their stuff, and... it's a very welcoming environment.
